About Me

Hi, I’m Elayne Kilpatrick

I believe coaching is a powerful vehicle for lasting change.

It can give your life direction when you are feeling stuck and help push you out of your comfort zone when you are feeling scared and lacking confidence.

Overcoming self-doubt and breaking free from patterns of negative thinking is pivotal to increasing your self-confidence and living the purpose driven life you deserve.

I know this because I’ve experienced the transformative effects of coaching myself.

My Story

Six years ago I hit rock bottom. The sudden loss of my Mum combined with the breakdown of my marriage was too much to cope with. I felt broken.

I just wanted to hide under the duvet and escape from life but being a Mum to two young children and having a career in the corporate world meant that wasn’t possible so I had to find a way out of how I was feeling.

After a year of counselling I eventually felt ready to move my life forward but was unsure in which direction.

For as long as I remember I always had a niggling feeling that I had more to offer and was yet to find my true sense of purpose in the world.

My friend suggested that I see a Life Coach. This turned out to be the best thing I have ever done. So much so that I decided to become a coach myself and enrolled on the Diploma in Personal Performance Coaching.

My personal transformation

Coaching was a unique journey of self-enquiry and discovery which challenged my mindset. I learned that the values & beliefs that I had adopted along my life’s journey no longer served me and were keeping me stuck.

Through coaching I was able to create the space to un-clutter my thoughts, provide clarity on limiting beliefs and to re-align my goals with my core values.

Through facing challenging questions, often the ones we want to shy away from, and discovering the answers to these questions, I was able to engage fully with what I really wanted in my life.

Where I am today

Today I’m the proud owner of a campervan, something I have wanted for a long time, which honours the value I place on my freedom to take off whenever I feel the urge.

Passionate about trekking I completed Everest Base Camp earlier this year and raised money for Alzheimers Charity. This pushed me out of my comfort zone and was one of the most amazing experiences of my life.

I run a successful life coaching business which I never even dreamed possible and am truly passionate about my continued learning and self-development in this field.
